RepOtz ("us", "we", or "our") operates the RepOtz service (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used here have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service.

Definitions

Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

Usage Data is data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit). Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a User's device.

Data Controller means a person who (either alone or jointly or in common with others) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal data are, or are to be, processed. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, we are a Data Controller of your data.

Data Processor (or Service Provider) means any person (other than an employee of the Data Controller) who processes the data on behalf of the Data Controller. We may use the services of various Service Providers in order to process your data more effectively.

Data Subject is any living individual who is the subject of Personal Data. The User is the individual using our Service and corresponds to the Data Subject.

Information Collection And Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). This may include, but is not limited to: email address, first and last name, cookies, and usage data.

We may use your Personal Data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications by following the unsubscribe link provided in any email we send.

Reputation audit report

When you ask to receive your reputation audit report by email, we collect and store your email address. It is used first to send you the requested report. If you tick the dedicated consent box, we may also use it to contact you about your online reputation; this consent is optional and can be withdrawn at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails. Without that consent, your address is never used for prospecting.

Usage Data

We may also collect information on how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This may include your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type and version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

Tracking & Cookies Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. They are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Other tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

We only use strictly necessary or functional cookies (set on your device by our own site, never by third parties); this is why our site does not require a cookie consent banner:

  • Session cookie and security token (XSRF-TOKEN): required to sign in and protect forms.
  • Preferences (language, currency, dashboard layout): to remember your choices.
  • Referral cookie (90 days): set only if you arrive via an affiliate link, to credit the referrer.

For traffic measurement we use Plausible Analytics, which sets no cookies. We use no advertising or remarketing cookies.

Our live chat (Tawk.to) sets cookies needed for the conversation; on the public site they are only set when you open the chat.

These processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS. The payment processor we work with is Stripe.

Links To Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

The security of your personal information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the personal information we have collected.
